Betty Amos
Our band’s patron saint, Betty Amos was a banjo-pickin’ singer-songwriter in all-girl country bluegrass band in the 1960s. When their plane lost power on their way to a USO gig, the band played the gig on time on borrowed instruments after being air-lifted from the ice floe where they’d landed.
“If Betty could do that, we can do this.” Hear the 5-Foot Betty version of Betty’s story in this song.
